Here can you read information from Swedish authorities about the Covid-19 coronavirus.
The staff for crisis-management in our municipality is activated. This means that the municipality actively monitors the development and is ready to take any measures in order to keep our society up and running.
Timrå municipality also collaborates with other organisations in the region to prevent the spread of infection.
In order not to spread the infection, the Public Health Agency invites people with symptoms, even mild ones, to limit their social contacts, both in work and in private life.
This applies if you have one or more of the following symptoms:
It is especially important that people who work in elderly care and healthcare for the elderly, if you experience symptoms of respiratory infection – stay at home!
Relatives should also avoid unnecessary visits to hospitals and elderly homes and never make visits if you have respiratory symptoms.
If you experience any of these symptoms, and also have visited any of the named risk areas or have had contact with someone who is already infected by Covid-19, you must call 1177 for further information.
