Coming to Timrå by road is easy. If you’re coming from the south or north just follow E4, it passes through Timrå. If you’re coming from Norway or western Sweden make your way to E14, follow it to Birsta, and then catch E4 North towards Haparanda. The public transit service is good, within the municipality, as well as to and from Sundsvall and Härnösand. There is also daily service to and from Sollefteå and along the coast from Haparanda and Stockholm.
Trains are also a natural alternative. Buses to Timrå run from Sundsvall’s central station, just 15 km to the south. Sundsvall-Härnösand’s airport, Midlanda, is located in Timrå and offers flights daily to Stockholm, Göteborg and Luleå.
